Hi, I'm Tiernee!

I help exhausted families improve sleep by addressing breathing, oral function, and the whole child.

Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant and Myofunctional Therapist

I believe sleep is a pillar of health, not a luxury. When we consider the whole child, including how they breathe, eat, and function, we uncover real answers. My goal is to help families move from survival mode to peaceful, restorative rest.

Sleep challenges are rarely just behavioral or just physiological. Most often, they are intertwined.
Routines and habits matter. So do breathing patterns, oral function, nervous system regulation, and development. When we focus on only one piece of the puzzle, progress can stall.
By addressing both physiological factors and behavioral patterns, we create a comprehensive sleep program that supports sustainable results.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

results that last

We look at the whole child, including breathing, oral function, and habits, so sleep improvements are lasting.

My journey into sleep work began long before formal training. When my oldest was one, I did not have the knowledge or support I needed. I was told to let him cry alone and “figure it out.” Later, I was advised to lock him in his room and force independence. That approach did not align with my instincts as a mother.
I was raising three children close in age. I was exhausted. They were exhausted. I knew sleep mattered, but I also knew that forcing behavior without understanding the full picture was not the answer.
Over time, I began to see something deeper.
As a dental hygienist, I saw how oral development, breathing patterns, and structural concerns could influence overall health. As I expanded into myofunctional therapy, I watched families improve function, yet sleep still remained fragmented. It became clear to me that sleep cannot be separated from the whole body.
Sometimes sleep challenges are behavioral. Sometimes they are physiological. Most often, they are intertwined.
I have been the exhausted mother searching for answers. There is no judgment here. Only support, structure, and a commitment to looking at the whole child.
Because restorative sleep is not optional. It shapes brain development, regulation, learning, and long term health.
That belief is what drives my work today.
